Logistics Operations Specialist

We are looking for an experienced operations professional capable of independently managing freight workflows, coordinating with carriers and clients, and ensuring efficient and accurate execution. To deliver disciplined, repeatable execution throughout Pure's shipment lifecycle by maintaining real-time visibility, accurate TMS records, complete documentation, and early exception escalation. This role clears the runway for local coordinators to focus on customer communication, complex execution, and problem-solving.

Core Responsibilities
Real-Time Visibility & Carrier Communication

• Maintain active and precise tracking of high-value industrial, energy, construction, and project shipments across all critical transit milestones.
• Conduct structured and professional check calls with carrier partners to verify pickup readiness, schedule adherence, transit progress, and delivery status.
• Confirm appointments and site requirements, ensuring drivers understand access instructions, PPE expectations, documentation requirements, and critical timing.

TMS Data Integrity

• Maintain RoseRocket as the real-time source of truth by accurately updating shipment statuses, appointment times, location notes, contact details, and operational milestones.
• Ensure all TMS records are current, accurate, and trusted by the entire pod team at all times.

Document Lifecycle & Exception Management

• Proactively retrieve, verify, name, and catalogue PODs, bills of lading, scale tickets, field paperwork, and other shipment documents.
• Organize and retrieve customer-specific transit, customs, safety, and project documents according to established workflows.
• Identify potential delays, missing documentation, communication gaps, or site issues early; document the facts and escalate promptly to the local pod team.

• PODs and critical paperwork are captured rapidly after delivery.
• Potential service failures are identified and escalated before they become customer surprises.
• Local coordinators spend materially less time on repetitive administrative workflows.

• At least 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, or operations support.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Highly organized, accurate, and comfortable managing multiple active workflows simultaneously.
• Professional confidence communicating with drivers, dispatchers, and internal team members.
• Able to follow detailed SOPs while recognizing when escalation is required.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, customer service, or data-intensive operations is preferred.
• Comfort with cloud software, Microsoft Teams, email, and transportation management systems (TMS).
