We are seeking a proactive and detail oriented Logistics Coordinator with 2+ years of experience in transportatio n, freight brokerage, or 3PL operations. The ideal candidate will coordinate shipments from pickup through delivery, ensuring timely execution, effective communicati on, and exceptional customer service while supporting daily logistics operations.
Key Description:
- Coordinate and monitor shipments from pickup through final delivery.
- Track freight, provide shipment updates, and resolve service issues proactively.
- Communicate with customers, carriers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Dispatch loads, schedule appointments, and support carrier coordination.
- Source and negotiate with carriers as needed while maintaining strong carrier relationships.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and process transportation documents, including BOLs, PODs, and rate confirmations.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and customer requirements.
- Support daily operational activities and contribute to continuous process improvements.
