At OGS Colombia, we are looking for a Senior Motion Designer to join GSD&M, partnering with creative teams to bring brands, campaigns, and ideas to life through compelling motion design and animation.
We are seeking a highly skilled motion designer with a strong command of animation fundamentals, visual storytelling, and design principles. The ideal candidate combines creative thinking with exceptional execution, can independently develop and deliver high-quality motion work, and brings a refined approach to movement, typography, composition, and visual narrative.
Key requirements:
5+ years of professional motion design experience in an agency, studio, or brand environment.
A strong reel or portfolio showcasing creative range, animation craft, and visual storytelling.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Blender, along with current motion design and prototyping tools.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with basic video editing skills in Premiere Pro.
Strong foundations in typography, layout, color, composition, and visual hierarchy.
Excellent understanding and application of animation principles, including timing, easing, weight, and movement.
Experience developing concepts, style frames, storyboards, animatics, and final animations across 2D and, when appropriate, 3D.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with designers, art directors, and copywriters in a fast-paced environment.
