The High School English Teacher creates engaging and challenging learning experiences that develop students’ skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical thinking. The teacher designs rigorous, standards-aligned instruction that engages students with diverse literary and informational texts while strengthening analytical thinking, effective communication, and authentic writing. Responsibilities include assessing student progress, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learner needs, and providing meaningful feedback that supports student growth. The teacher fosters curiosity, creativity, thoughtful discussion, and student voice within an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. The successful candidate collaborates with colleagues to strengthen curriculum and instructional practices and contributes actively to the broader school community.

🎓 Degree in Education, English, Literature, or a related field
📜 Master’s Degree in Education or English (preferred)
