Training Specialist

General Description:
The Training Specialist is a key professional in our organization responsible for designing, organizing, and coordinating employee training programs. This role includes assessing training needs, creating educational content, and measuring the effectiveness of training programs. The Training Specialist plays a vital role in employee development and the continuous improvement of productivity and efficiency throughout the organization.

Mission or General Objective of the Position:
The Training Specialist's primary objective is to ensure that all employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. This is achieved by identifying training needs, designing customized training programs, and implementing these programs across the organization. The Training Specialist works closely with managers and supervisors to ensure that training is aligned with the organization's objectives and to measure the impact of training on employee performance.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
1. Identify training needs through consultations with managers and observation of employees in their workplace.

2. Design and develop customized training programs that address identified needs.

3. Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, both in person and online.

4. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make adjustments as needed.

5. Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in training and development.

6. Work closely with managers and supervisors to ensure that training is aligned with organizational goals.

7. Measure the impact of training on employee performance and report to management.

1. Education: A bachelor's degree

2. Knowledge and Skills: The candidate must have a solid understanding of training and development principles and practices, as well as the planning and implementation of training programs. The ability to design and facilitate training programs, both in-person and online, is required. A strong command of training technologies and industry best practices is desired. The ability to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs will be valued.

3. Experience and Competencies: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role is required, preferably in an organization of similar size. A proactive professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment is sought. Experience managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously will be valued.
