About the Opportunity
We are looking for a highly analytical and service-oriented Sr Data Support Engineer to join a Regional Shared Services Center supporting manufacturing operations across the Americas region.
This position is focused on providing operational support for enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, reporting solutions, and data pipelines used by manufacturing plants. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, exceptional troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to prioritize incidents based on business impact and service commitments.
Role Purpose
The Sr Data Support Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of enterprise data platforms and reporting solutions supporting manufacturing operations throughout the Americas.
This role owns incident resolution, root cause analysis, data reconciliation activities, and ongoing support of data integrations across ERP, Finance, Sales, and Data Warehouse environments. Working within an ITSM framework, the professional will ensure business continuity through proactive monitoring, rapid issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide production support for enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, and reporting solutions serving manufacturing sites.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents impacting data pipelines, ETL processes, integrations, and analytics environments.
Support SQL Server environments, including SSIS packages, SSAS cubes, SQL Agent jobs, and reporting services.
Perform data reconciliation between ERP systems, Data Warehouse platforms, Finance, Sales, and operational systems.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions for recurring issues.
Assess and communicate business impact associated with data incidents, including operational, financial, and reporting risks.
Manage incidents, service requests, problems, and changes following ITSM and ITIL best practices.
Ensure compliance with SLAs and support operational KPIs such as MTTR, data quality, data availability, and service performance.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and regional support teams to maintain trusted data assets.
Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and support procedures.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, automation, monitoring, and operational excellence.

Requerimientos
What We're Looking For
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience supporting enterprise data environments.
Proven experience supporting production data pipelines and operational data platforms.
Strong experience in manufacturing environments.
Experience supporting multinational organizations and regional operations.
Experience managing incidents in business-critical environments.
Advanced understanding of data warehouse operations and enterprise reporting ecosystems.
Technical Requirements
Advanced SQL Server experience.
Strong hands-on expertise in:
SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services)
SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) preferred
Experience supporting ETL processes and data integration workflows.
Data reconciliation experience across multiple enterprise systems.
Exposure to ERP environments such as:
SAP ECC
SAP S/4HANA
Oracle
Dynamics
JD Edwards
PeopleSoft
Infor LN
Production support experience within data and reporting platforms.
ITSM / ITIL operational support practices.
Incident, Problem and Change Management processes.
Language
Advanced to Fluent English (mandatory).
