As a Transportation Compliance Specialist, you will encounter exciting challenges in this role:
- Ensure carrier compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal company requirements to minimize operational risk and maintain service continuity.
- Review and validate carrier documentation, including insurance certificates, operating authorities, and other critical compliance records.
- Monitor carrier performance, safety records, and compliance history to evaluate reliability and identify potential risks.
- Track key renewal dates and expiration deadlines, ensuring carriers maintain active and up-to-date documentation.
- Investigate compliance issues and support corrective action plans when required.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Strategic Partnerships teams to provide guidance regarding carrier approvals and profile annotations.
- Maintain accurate carrier records and ensure compliance data is properly documented and updated across internal systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at strengthening carrier qualification and compliance processes.
- Support the company in building and maintaining a reliable, compliant, and high-performing carrier network.
