We’re looking for a Senior Social Designer with around three to four years’ experience who is ready to take on greater creative ownership and develop towards a senior role.
You’ll turn audience, cultural and platform insights into social-first ideas, then bring those ideas to life across static, motion and short-form video. Working with creators, strategists, copywriters and producers, you’ll contribute to always-on content, reactive moments, paid social assets and larger platform-native campaigns.
This is a hands-on role with increasing responsibility for creative development and delivery. You’ll develop visual concepts and repeatable content formats, produce moodboards and storyboards, and carry work through from initial thinking to final execution. You’ll be supported by senior creative leadership while being encouraged to build your confidence in leading projects, presenting your work and shaping the creative output of the team.
What You’ll Do
- Create distinctive social-first content across static, motion and short-form video.
- Develop visual concepts, moodboards, storyboards, trial layouts and repeatable content formats.
- Design content for organic and paid placements, including carousels, Stories, Reels, TikToks, thumbnails and other emerging formats.
- Create motion graphics and animations in After Effects.
- Edit short-form video in Premiere Pro, applying a strong understanding of pacing, narrative, music, graphics and shot selection.
- Produce agile, reactive content in response to relevant trends, formats, sounds and cultural moments.
- Translate strategic objectives and creative briefs into clear, compelling visual ideas.
- Collaborate with creators and specialist partner creators to ensure content feels native to the platform while retaining clear and distinctive brand cues.
- Work closely with social strategists, copywriters, producers, project managers and research teams to develop and refine ideas.
- Contribute to creative ideation sessions, content strategy discussions and campaign development.
- Present concepts and design rationale clearly to internal teams and, increasingly, to clients.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of social formats, platform specifications, creative best practice and emerging technologies.
- Use performance data, community response and platform learnings to help improve future creative work.
- Apply light retouching and image-editing skills to prepare assets for social publishing.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-moving agency environment, including pitch scenarios where required.
