The Primary Homeroom Teacher creates a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports the academic, social, and emotional growth of young learners. The teacher plans and delivers standards-aligned instruction using research-based practices and differentiated learning experiences. Responsibilities include assessing student progress, using data to inform instruction, and providing timely feedback to students and families. The teacher fosters curiosity, independence, collaboration, and a positive classroom community. Effective communication and partnership with colleagues, families, and support teams are essential. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to student-centered learning, inclusion, professional growth, and the school’s mission and values.
