The Cost Account Analyst is responsible for analyzing, tracking, and controlling product and operational costs to support financial planning, pricing, and profitability strategies. This role plays a key part in providing accurate cost data, identifying variances, and supporting internal decision-making through detailed cost reporting and analysis. It´s an Analyst level position with development oportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and monitor operational costs on a regular basis.
Maping of data cost and inventory for problem solving
Calculate standard costs and update bill of materials (BOM) and cost models as needed.
Support monthly closing activities related to inventory valuation, cost of goods sold (COGS), and variances.
Conduct margin and variance analysis between standard and actual costs (material, labor, overhead).
Cost reduction analisys
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cost simulations.
