Senior AI Engineer (LLMs, Python, AWS)

Niuro is hiring a Senior AI Engineer for a US tax software company. You will design, build and stabilize AI systems that are already running in production.

What you will do: design, build and improve AI systems, including agent-based workflows; debug, refactor and stabilize production LLM systems; integrate AI through REST APIs and backend services; deploy, monitor and operate AI services on AWS or Azure with CI/CD and infrastructure as code; work with engineering, product and leadership to pay down technical debt.

Full-time, fully remote from Latin America, contractor paid in USD.

5+ years in software or AI engineering.

Strong Python with FastAPI or an equivalent framework.

Production experience with LLM platforms (OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon Bedrock or Azure OpenAI).

APIs, microservices, CI/CD and infrastructure as code.

Hands-on experience debugging, stabilizing and scaling AI systems in production.

C1 English, written and spoken.

Nice to have: C# / .NET; LangGraph, LlamaIndex, LangChain or MCP; Docker, Kubernetes or ECS; vector databases.
