Operations Specialist Jr

Talento is looking for a Operations Specialist Jr to support logistics operations and assist in managing freight transportation. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced logistics environment. The Operations Specialist will work under direct supervision, focusing on fundamental logistics tasks, shipment coordination, and operational support.  Manage FTL & LTL shipments to ensure efficient transportation.  Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers and clients.  Actively track shipments and provide status updates.  Update TMS systems with accurate shipment information.  Establish and maintain direct phone contact with existing drivers and owner-operators.  Engage with carriers from our database to ensure clear communication and seamless operations.  Track and trace loads in real-time using state-of-the-art transportation software.  Manage complex customer situations promptly and professionally.  Collaborate with internal teams to improve operational processes and service quality.  Stay updated on transportation procedures, industry best practices, and regulatory changes.
