Accounting Manager, US Accounting Operations

Niuro is hiring a hands-on Accounting Manager for a growing US software company. You will own day-to-day US accounting operations, month-end close, payroll accounting, compliance and financial reporting, partnering directly with the CEO/CFO and external tax and audit firms.

What you will do: own the full month-end close (journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, general ledger review and monthly financial statements); keep accurate records in QuickBooks Online; own payroll accounting and reconciliations in ADP, including multi-state payroll; coordinate US corporate tax compliance with external CPA firms; maintain audit-ready documentation and improve processes.

Full-time, fully remote, long-term contractor paid in USD.

6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with recent hands-on work as Accounting Manager, Controller or equivalent.

Strong experience with US accounting operations and US-based companies.

Advanced QuickBooks Online and hands-on ADP payroll accounting.

Experience in a US software or technology company, including capitalized software costs.

Clear, concise executive-level communication.

Near-native English (C2).
