About the Role
We are looking for a Travel Expense Accounting Analyst to join a Regional Shared Services Center (SSC) within a multinational organization, supporting finance operations across the Americas region (LATAM & United States).
This role is ideal for professionals with solid accounting foundations and interest in regional exposure within a structured SSC environment.
Role Purpose
The Travel Expense Accounting Analyst is responsible for the review, approval, and accounting of travel and expense reports, ensuring compliance with internal policies and accuracy of financial records.
The role supports regional finance operations, contributes to strong internal controls, and interacts with employees and stakeholders across LATAM and the US.
Key Responsibilities
Review and approve travel and expense reports using Concur or similar expense management platforms.
Post and review accounting entries related to travel expenses.
Analyze and reconcile expense reports and corporate credit card transactions.
Perform hotel and travel supplier reconciliations.
Support payment processing related to travel and expense suppliers.
Review expenses for policy compliance, following up on out-of-policy items with approvers and submitters.
Provide guidance and training to employees on expense reporting tools and processes.
Ensure accuracy, documentation, and compliance with internal controls and SSC procedures.
Collaborate with regional teams to support standardized processes across the Americas.

Requerimientos
What We’re Looking For
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
Experience
3–5 years of experience in Accounting, Accounts Payable, or Expense Management.
Experience working in Shared Services Centers (SSC) or regional finance environments is a plus.
Technical Knowledge
Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Hands-on experience with Concur or similar travel and expense platforms.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools.
Fluent English and Spanish (professional and conversational).
Skills & Competencies
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to manage priorities in a regional, high-volume environment.
Collaborative mindset with strong customer service orientation.
Ownership and accountability for assigned processes.
