Senior Accounting Analyst

Location: Querétaro, Querétaro Work Model: Hybrid About the role We are seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join a Regional Shared Services Center (SSC) within a multinational organization, supporting accounting operations across the Americas region (LATAM & United States). This role is ideal for professionals with strong accounting fundamentals and experience working in regional, multi-country environments. Role Purpose The Senior Accounting Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant accounting information, supporting regional month-end close and financial reporting processes within an SSC model. The role focuses on regional execution, coordination with internal stakeholders, and service delivery across the Americas. Key Responsibilities • Prepare, analyze, and report monthly financial statements in accordance with corporate standards and regional deadlines. • Participate in and support regional month-end close activities within the SSC framework. • Coordinate and monitor activities performed by external accounting service providers for assigned countries in the Americas. • Ensure accurate reporting of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and related financial schedules to corporate reporting platforms. • Prepare trial balances, management reports, and analytical Excel files to support expense analysis and accounting classification. • Perform and review accounting entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting policies. • Execute monthly account reconciliations and support revenue recognition processes. • Support internal controls, ensuring compliance with SSC governance, SLAs, and KPIs. • Provide support for internal and external audits, including documentation and explanations. • Collaborate closely with regional teams across LATAM and the United States in a multicultural, matrixed environment.
