About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Rails Engineer with hands-on experience building AI-powered applications to join a growing engineering team. In this role, you'll develop production-ready features using Ruby on Rails while helping integrate AI capabilities into products and engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Design, build, and deploy AI-powered features into production.
• Create reliable AI workflows with evaluation, testing, and guardrails.
• Build integrations with APIs, databases, and internal tools.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve software quality and development processes.
• Contribute to architecture, testing, deployment, and production support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience delivering AI or LLM-based features in production.
• Strong understanding of AI concepts such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agents, structured outputs, evaluation, or similar approaches.
• Experience working with React.
• Knowledge of software architecture, testing, deployment, and observability.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent engineering judgment.

Ability to work with at least 75% overlap with Eastern Time.
