We are looking for an Accounting Leader to play a key role within the Finance organization, leading complex accounting activities and supporting multi-country operations across the Americas region.
This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional with deep technical expertise, regional exposure, and the ability to lead by influence, ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and strong governance in a multinational environment.
🎯 Role Purpose
Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of financial records and reporting across multiple countries in the Americas. The Accounting Leader acts as a regional technical reference, driving high-quality analysis, supporting compliance and audits, and contributing to strategic financial decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
Lead complex accounting analysis across multiple countries, including account reviews, reconciliations, and financial statement assessments.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for Americas operations.
Act as a technical accounting leader and subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentorship to accounting team members.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits at a regional level, ensuring documentation, controls, and audit readiness.
Identify accounting risks, inconsistencies, and variances across countries, providing insights and corrective action plans.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, standardization, and best practices across regional accounting processes.
Ensure compliance with local GAAP requirements and IFRS / NIIF, as well as internal accounting policies.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes in collaboration with FP&A and Finance leadership.
Partner with cross-functional teams (Tax, Payroll, Finance Operations, SSCs) to strengthen regional financial governance.
Promote knowledge sharing, documentation, and technical development within the accounting organization.

Requerimientos
✅ What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent (highly desirable).
10+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, including positions of increasing responsibility.
Proven experience supporting multi-country accounting operations across the Americas region (North America and/or Latin America).
Strong background in financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit environments.
Solid understanding of accounting controls, compliance, and regional financial governance.
Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.

Advanced knowledge of IFRS / NIIF and local accounting regulations across different countries.
Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with high attention to detail.
Ability to lead by influence, mentor senior and junior team members, and act as a trusted advisor.
Strong communication skills to explain complex accounting topics to diverse stakeholders.
Comfortable operating in a multinational, fast-paced, matrix environment.
