Operations Specialist Mid

Talento is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Operations Specialist to manage daily shipment operations from pickup through delivery. This role requires strong coordination skills, proactive communication, and the ability to keep multiple shipments on track simultaneously. Key Responsibilities 1. Customer & Shipment Management • Provide end-to-end customer support from pickup through final delivery • Communicate shipment updates, including ETAs, delivery confirmations, and any changes • Maintain proactive communication with clients to ensure expectations are met 2. Scheduling & Coordination • Schedule delivery appointments and assist consignees with required arrangements • Coordinate with terminals, carriers, and partners to ensure all services are properly executed 3. Tracking & Reporting • Monitor shipments and identify any delays or issues • Report on shipments that are at risk of not delivering as scheduled • Maintain accurate and up-to-date tracking information in internal systems 4. Documentation Management • Ensure all shipments have complete and accurate documentation • Retrieve and upload required documents such as Proof of Delivery (POD) • Follow up with agents or partners to obtain missing paperwork 5. Communication & Collaboration • Respond to emails and messages in a timely manner • Attend team meetings and stay aligned with internal teams • Remain available across communication channels for urgent requests

Requirements • Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, logistics, customer support, or a related role • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Clear written and verbal communication skills • Strong problem-solving ability • Ability to work collaboratively across teams • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common business tools (Excel, Outlook, Google Workspace) • Comfort using logistics systems, TMS platforms, and communication tools (e.g., Slack, Teams) • Basic understanding of U.S. geography
