Ltl Specialist Mid

Talento is seeking a Mid-Level LTL Coordinator who is passionate about logistics operations and has experience in freight coordination, shipment tracking, and carrier management. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while managing specific responsibilities within the logistics team. The Mid-Level LTL Coordinator will play a crucial role in optimizing transportation processes, ensuring timely deliveries, and enhancing operational efficiency.  Manage and track LTL shipments, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.  Coordinate pick-ups and deliveries with LTL carriers, optimizing schedules and cost efficiency.  Analyze and improve transportation processes, identifying opportunities for operational enhancements.  Negotiate rates and service agreements with carriers to optimize cost and performance.  Provide shipment updates and resolve transportation issues by liaising with carriers, vendors, and customers.  Ensure compliance with logistics regulations and company policies.  Monitor carrier performance and service levels, addressing any discrepancies or inefficiencies.  Maintain and update records in the Transportation Management System (TMS) and other tracking tools.  Assist in training and mentoring junior team members in logistics operations.

 2–3 years in logistics, transportation, or a related field.  Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma with proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration  Works independently on assigned tasks with minimal supervision  Manages small projects or specific logistics functions with minimal supervision  Identifies and resolves operational challenges within the logistics field  Requires occasional oversight but can make independent decisions  Experienced in problem-solving and process optimization within the logistics field.
