Junior Compliance

General Description:
The Junior Compliance Officer is a crucial role within our organization, focused on ensuring that our company adheres to all applicable internal and external laws and regulations. Mission or General Objective of the Role:
The primary objective of the Junior Compliance Officer role is to support our compliance department in overseeing and managing the company's compliance obligations. This involves conducting compliance investigations, developing compliance policies and procedures, and providing advice and guidance on compliance issues at all levels of our organization. The role holder will play a vital part in protecting our company from legal and reputational risk.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Educational Level and Knowledge:
The ideal candidate for the Junior Compliance Officer role should hold a university degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related fields. A solid understanding of applicable financial laws and regulations, as well as internal auditing principles and practices, is essential. Certification in regulatory compliance or related fields will be highly valued.

Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
We are looking for a professional with at least 1-2 years of experience in a compliance, audit, or risk environment. The candidate must possess exceptional communication and writing skills, with the ability to interpret and effectively communicate complex laws and regulations. The candidate should be organized, meticulous, and capable of working effectively under pressure. The ability to work as part of a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is also highly valued.

Additionally, a high level of proficiency in written and spoken English is required due to the global nature of our business.
