Junior Accounting Analyst | Regional SSC Americas Location: Querétaro, Querétaro Work Model: Hybrid About the role We are looking for a Junior Accounting Analyst to join a Regional Shared Services Center (SSC) within a multinational organization, supporting accounting processes across the Americas region (LATAM & United States). This role offers exposure to regional accounting operations and collaboration with multicultural teams. Role Purpose The Junior Accounting Analyst supports accurate and timely accounting records, participating in month-end close activities and regional financial processes. The role focuses on execution, coordination, and learning within an SSC environment supporting multiple countries across the Americas. Key Responsibilities • Support monthly accounting close activities within the Regional SSC. • Prepare trial balances, management reports, and analytical Excel files to support regional accounting analysis. • Perform accounting postings and review transactions in ERP systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. • Support payroll-related accounting entries and other provisions in coordination with internal and external teams. • Assist with monthly expense analysis prior to and during month-end close. • Perform monthly account reconciliations for assigned accounts. • Support the preparation and follow-up of internal controls in line with SSC governance and responsibility matrices. • Provide support for internal and external audits, including documentation and data gathering. • Support accounting activities related to insurance policies and deferred expense control when applicable. • Collaborate with regional teams across LATAM and the United States, working in a multicultural environment.
