Exceptional Learner Programs Co Teacher / Resource Room Teacher Sy 2026 2027

Join the Exceptional Learner Program (ELP) at Colegio Nueva Granada (CNG) for the 2026-2027 academic year. As a Co-Teacher or Resource Room Teacher, you will work within the Learning Center to support students with learning differences in both classroom and intervention settings. You will collaborate with general education teachers to co-plan (embedding Universal Design for Learning/UDL) and co-teach core subjects, providing specially designed instruction and remediation.

Your mission is to help students develop coping mechanisms, self-discipline, and responsibility for their learning while working toward their individual IEP goals. This role requires a professional dedicated to fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues within a collaborative educational environment.

• Apply if you meet the following requirements:

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Education, Special Education, or Psychology (Master's preferred).

• Bilingual proficiency with a C1 level in English.

• At least 3 years of experience in education and school settings.

• Proven experience working with students with Learning Disabilities.

• Knowledge and training in remediation, learning styles, and differentiated instruction.

• Experience designing and implementing accommodations, scaffolds, and positive behavior support plans.

• Ability to monitor and work towards IEP goals and implement testing modifications.

• Strong competency in developing positive relationships and following administrative channels.
