Join the Elisa Vargas Library (EVL) at Colegio Nueva Granada (CNG) for the 2026-2027 academic year. In this integral role, you will help create a welcoming, dynamic, and student-centered environment for students in grades 6-12. Working alongside a collaborative library and Makerspace team, you will supervise students during high-traffic periods, maintain and develop our bilingual collection, and support student engagement through a growing focus on gaming initiatives and recreational programming. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring creative ideas to life, facilitate engaging workshops, and foster a lifelong love for learning and exploration within a fast-paced educational community.

• We prefer candidates who meet the following requirements:

• Experience working with middle and/or high school students in an educational setting.

• Desirable experience in libraries, bookstores, archives, museums, or customer service environments.

• Demonstrated organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

• Passion or interest in literature, graphic novels, manga, board games, tabletop role-playing games, or gaming culture.

• Ability to facilitate small-group activities, workshops, clubs, or special events.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and staff.

• Proactive, adaptable, and creative mindset suitable for a fast-paced environment.

• Full proficiency in both English and Spanish is required.
