Key Responsibilities • Assist in coordinating and managing daily dispatch operations to ensure timely deliveries. • Monitor and track shipments, vehicles, and delivery schedules to ensure efficiency. • Respond to customer and internal emails regarding order lookups, delivery issues, and exceptions. • Complete worksheets and documentation within Port-Pro for order management and exception handling. • Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve any issues that may arise. • Assist in maintaining and updating dispatch logs, schedules, and related documents. • Help manage the flow of information and documentation between departments, ensuring accuracy. • Support the senior dispatchers with problem-solving and troubleshooting minor logistical challenges. • Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing inquiries and ensuring delivery expectations are met. • Organize and maintain records, data, and files related to dispatch operations. • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting ways to enhance operational efficiency.

• Technical diploma or associate degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, or similar experience. • 6 months to 3 years of experience in logistics, dispatching, or customer service (internships are a plus). • Experience with Port-Pro or similar TMS systems. • Good communication, attention to detail, time management, problem-solving, team player, adaptable, tech-savvy, organized, and customer-focused. • Ability to perform basic tasks under direct supervision. • -Supports operational tasks and team activities effectively.
