Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating and managing daily dispatch operations to ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor and track shipments, vehicles, and delivery schedules to ensure efficiency.
- Respond to customer and internal emails regarding order lookups, delivery issues, and exceptions.
- Complete worksheets and documentation within Port-Pro for order management and exception handling.
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Assist in maintaining and updating dispatch logs, schedules, and related documents.
- Help manage the flow of information and documentation between departments, ensuring accuracy.
- Support the senior dispatchers with problem-solving and troubleshooting minor logistical challenges.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing inquiries and ensuring delivery expectations are met.
- Organize and maintain records, data, and files related to dispatch operations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting ways to enhance operational efficiency.
