This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Specialist focused on lead generation and outbound prospecting. In this role, you will be responsible for helping expand Client marketplace by reaching out to trucking companies, owner-operators, and transportation businesses, introducing them to client services, and generating qualified sales opportunities for the closing team. Your primary objective will be to build relationships with potential customers, identify business opportunities, and schedule qualified meetings for the sales team. This role is focused on pipeline generation and outreach rather than closing deals.
- Conduct outbound sales outreach to trucking companies, owner-operators, trailer companies, and other transportation businesses through cold calling, email, and other prospecting methods.
- Generate qualified leads and schedule meetings for the sales team.
- Introduce prospects to Freight Ninja’s managed parking solutions and communicate the value proposition effectively.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and identify customer needs.
- Utilize persuasive communication techniques to overcome objections and maintain engagement with prospects.
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity metrics, including call volume, conversations, and qualified opportunities generated.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all outreach and prospect interactions within the CRM system (e.g., HubSpot).
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure smooth handoff of qualified opportunities.
