About the Role
We are looking for a Billing, Revenue & Accounts Receivable Team Lead to join a Regional Shared Services Center (SSC) within a multinational organization, supporting end to end billing, revenue recognition, and AR operations across the Americas region (LATAM & United States).
This role combines people leadership and technical expertise, with strong regional exposure and cross functional interaction.

Role Purpose
The Billing, Revenue & AR Team Lead is responsible for overseeing billing, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable processes across multiple countries in the Americas.
The role ensures accurate revenue reporting, strong internal controls, timely collections, and compliance with regional and statutory requirements, while leading a team within a SSC service delivery model.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month end revenue closing processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and proper timing across the Americas region.
• Oversee billing, credit memos, pricing approvals, and marketing allowance processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
• Manage end to end Accounts Receivable operations, including invoicing, cash application, collections, credit management, and dispute resolution.
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external audits, supporting SOX compliance and audit readiness.
• Partner closely with Sales, Logistics, Taxes, Technical Service, and Finance teams to minimize billing issues and accelerate collections.
• Review daily and weekly reports to identify billing or revenue risks and drive timely resolution.
• Coordinate approvals and documentation for pricing, credits, discounts, and contracts.
• Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance billing accuracy, revenue reporting, and AR performance within the SSC.
• Lead, coach, and develop a regional team, ensuring service delivery aligned with SSC SLAs and KPIs.

What We’re Looking For
Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields (preferred).

Experience

• 6–10 years of experience in Billing, Revenue Accounting, or Accounts Receivable roles.
• 3–5 years of people leadership experience.
• Proven experience supporting multi country or regional operations across the Americas.
• Previous experience in a Shared Services Center (SSC) environment is highly desirable.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar).
• In depth knowledge of billing, revenue recognition, credit, and pricing processes.
• Solid understanding of internal controls and SOX requirements.
• Professional English required.

• All locations will be based in Querétaro.
