A multinational organization is seeking an AP & General Ledger to support and lead finance operations within a Regional Shared Services Center (SSC), serving the Americas region (LATAM & United States).
This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting leader with experience in SSC environments, strong knowledge of AP and General Ledger processes, and the ability to lead teams while ensuring compliance, standardization, and service excellence across multiple countries.
🎯 Role Purpose
Lead and coordinate Accounts Payable and General Ledger activities within a regional SSC, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with global and local policies, and timely execution of period-close activities. The Accounting Team Lead plays a key role in process standardization, internal controls, and continuous improvement, supporting multiple countries across the Americas.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
Lead AP and General Ledger operations within a Regional Shared Services Center.
Ensure all invoices are processed accurately, with proper documentation and approvals prior to payment.
Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring deadlines and SLAs are met.
Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet accounts.
Ensure compliance with local tax, statutory, and accounting requirements across the Americas.
Actively support process standardization and optimization initiatives typical of SSC environments.
Drive Procure-to-Pay improvement projects in collaboration with Procurement, Finance, and other teams.
Ensure compliance with SOX, internal controls, and ISO standards.
Support and coordinate statutory and internal audits for countries supported by the SSC.
Lead, coach, and develop the AP & GL team, ensuring performance aligned to KPIs and service levels.
Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders across LATAM and the US.

Requerimientos
✅ What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Strong understanding of accounting operations in SSC environments.
6–10 years of experience in Accounting, AP, and General Ledger roles.
3–5 years of experience leading teams in Finance or Accounting.
Proven experience supporting multi-country operations within the Americas.
Hands-on experience with SAP (S/4HANA and/or ECC).
Advanced Excel skills.
Fluent English and Spanish (required for regional collaboration).
