Ap/Ar Specialist – Freight Brokerage

We are seeking a detail-oriented AP/AR Specialist to support daily accounting operations within a fast-paced freight brokerage environment. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable, preferably within logistics, transportation, or factoring companies. Key Responsibilities • Process carrier invoices and customer billing accurately and on time. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. • Verify freight rates, load confirmations, and accessorial charges. • Work closely with factoring companies to ensure proper documentation and payment processing. • Follow up on outstanding invoices and support collections efforts. • Reconcile customer and carrier accounts to identify discrepancies. • Maintain accurate records in accounting and TMS systems. • Collaborate with operations and brokerage teams to resolve billing issues. • Assist with month-end reporting and financial reconciliation tasks.

Requirements: • 1 year of experience in AP/AR, accounting, freight brokerage, or factoring companies. • Experience working with carrier payments, invoicing, and collections. • Understanding of freight brokerage processes and transportation terminology. • Familiarity with factoring procedures and documentation. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills. • English proficiency required (B2–C1 preferred).
