Active Directory Administrator

The Active Directory Administrator will manage the enterprise Active Directory environment, ensuring its security, stability, and efficiency, Provides support, implementation, and design services for Microsoft Active Directory and Windows-based systems across the enterprise (multi-domain environment), including directory and future identity management solutions on on-premise, cloud and hybrid environments.

Active Directory Administrator will support the day to day operations of multiple Active Directory Environments, to include proper functioning of the systems, the health of multiple forests, view logs, and troubleshoot problems as they arise

Active Directory Design and Implementation: Design, deploy, and maintain Active Directory structures that align with organizational requirements and best practices.

User and Group Management: Create, modify, and manage user accounts, groups, and permissions to ensure secure and efficient access to network resources.

Group Policy Management: Develop and enforce Group Policies to standardize and secure desktop configurations, application settings, and security settings across the network.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve issues related to Active Directory, authentication, and access control in a timely and efficient manner.

Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access and ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

Backup and Recovery: Establish and maintain reliable backup and recovery processes for Active Directory, ensuring minimal downtime in the event of data loss or system failure.

Upgrades and Patch Management: Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and updates to ensure the security and performance of the Active Directory environment.

Knowledge of Active Directory Certificate Services

Familiar with PowerShell scripting

Provide technical support and guidance to users and IT staff.

Perform regular backup and recovery operations.

Escalate to vendors and provide root cause analysis and incident reports

Maintenance and support of DNS and WINS
