The Accounts Receivable Specialist is a key professional on our finance team, responsible for managing and overseeing all accounts receivable activities. This position requires a solid understanding of accounting and financial practices, as well as exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. The specialist will work closely with other members of the finance team to ensure that all payments are processed promptly and accurately, and that accurate financial records are maintained.
General Mission or Objective of the Position:
The primary objective of the Accounts Receivable Specialist is to ensure that the company receives all payments owed for goods or services rendered in a timely and accurate manner. This role is vital to maintaining the company's financial health, as it ensures a steady cash flow and minimizes losses from late or uncollectible payments. The specialist is also responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
1. Manage and oversee all accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment processing, and discrepancy resolution.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions.
3. Work closely with the sales team to ensure all invoices are submitted and collected in a timely manner.
4. Proactively follow up on aging accounts receivable and take action to resolve overdue payments.
5. Prepare regular accounts receivable status reports for management.
6. Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile accounts receivable and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
7. Comply with all company financial policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.

Requerimientos
Educational Level:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) is a plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable practices.
- Excellent data analysis skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software.
- Advanced English proficiency, both spoken and written.
Experience and Competencies:
- At least two years of experience in an accounts receivable or similar role.
